Hi, my name is Patti Jewel and I am a beach lover with a passion for traveling the world to find the best beaches and feel the different sand between my toes as I walk along the shore. I believe that the sand is a big part of what makes the beach what it is. The sand at the beach can be so different in texture and color from beach to beach. Keeping the beaches clean so we can enjoy it barefoot, and protecting the wildlife and natural beauty is of vital importance.

I am a Florida native and grew up going to the beaches all around the state, and at the start of Covid, I decided I would walk the entire peninsula. So my daughter and I set off on the journey.
