Low Tide Revelations

    There’s something about low tide.

The water pulls back, and what’s usually hidden is laid bare.
The rippled sand, the tide pools, the scattered shells and seaweed that were just moments ago underwater. It stretches the shoreline farther than you remember it reaching, and suddenly you can see what’s been beneath you the whole time.

In life, low tide isn’t about the shallowing.
It’s about the opportunity to see below the surface and the revelations that can be revealed.

Things we’ve missed in the waves.
Truths that are right there that we didn’t see before.
Perspectives that can be seen more clearly.

    Sometimes that view is messy.
    Sometimes it’s healing.
    But it’s always honest.

If you bring light to the low tide and look deeper within yourself, you will see the beauty that is revealed.
The washed-up truths that come to light.
The imperfections that the waves have left behind that are so beautiful when revealed in this light.
And the treasures you forgot were there.

Life is more meaningful when we embrace the low tides and allow the revelations to surface.
