Walk in the Sand – Scenic Highway 30A, WaterSound
Watersound blew me away! This community was built behind some of the largest and expansive dunes in the state of Florida. Directly east of Deer Lake State Park which shares immence dunes and offers amazing walks on the beach.
Within the WaterSound community is a beautiful, naturally built homes that bring the outdoors in. Every home has a walkway that leads to the extensive boardwalks that cross over the dune system to the beach.
The community is gated, so unless you are staying in the rental homes, you can’t gain access. However, you can walk along the beaches of Watersound when you access the beach from neighboring Deer Lake State Park.
