Gasparilla Island features some of the most beautiful and serene beaches on the Gulf Coast. The beaches are perfect for shelling, swimming, and enjoying the breathtaking sunsets that Florida’s west coast is known for. The waters around the island are also popular for kayaking and paddleboarding, where you can explore the coastline and nearby islands from a different perspective. The island is relatively small, making it easy to explore on foot, by bicycle, or via golf cart.
The Beaches
The beaches are perfect for shelling, swimming, and enjoying the breathtaking sunsets that Florida’s west coast is known for. There are basically only 3 spots for accessing the beach. First, there is a small, not well known, parking lot for access when you first come on the island. The better spots are in the state park at both lighthouses.
